Welcome, welcome! This course is for you! I hope it feels nourishing and supportive. As I mentioned in our welcome video, this process is yours.

Everything here is an invitation— nothing is required. As you move through, feel free to trust yourself over the words I have written, honor your pacing, and tend to yourself in any ways you need to.

You might have different practices, perspectives and experience than some of what I share here, and I honor that.

You are welcome to adjust, adapt, and take what is here as inspiration (as well as disregard anything that doesn't feel right for you).

My humble hope is that this experience feels supportive to you in your journey of befriending your nervous system and honoring your experience.

This process is for you.

I know your experience might be different than mine, and your experience is welcome here. You are welcome to consider what I share here as starting places to connect with your nervous system in the ways that work for you.

This doesn't have to be perfect; it can be a practice.

I will be sharing from my personal and professional experiences, and I also want to acknowledge:

  • the wisdom that you bring!
  • your lived and present day experience + your goals (which might not always be aligned with what I share - and what if that's more than okay?)
  • my axes of privilege and my shortcomings

For example, my experiences are often determined by my identify. I am a white, femme human, so my perspective is shaped by this.

I will be sharing what I know while holding space for your wisdom and your unique, lived experience.
